Making Ephemeral a Reality

Instead of manually updating a password, systems are built to request new, just-in-time credentials for every session. This dramatically reduces the 'window of opportunity' for an attacker. If a secret is leaked, its value diminishes with every passing second, becoming useless once it expires. This approach simplifies audits, reduces the risk of 'secret sprawl' where old credentials are forgotten but remain active, and ultimately makes your systems more resilient.
