They must have what some experts are calling an “AI Judgement Quotient”—the ability to know when to trust the machine and when to challenge it. This is less about technical prowess and more about critical thinking, intuition, and a deep understanding of human psychology.
Training for Tomorrow's Threats
This evolution creates a significant challenge for the industry: the skills gap is widening and changing shape. If junior analysts no longer cut their teeth on routine tasks because automation handles them, how do they develop the experience needed to become senior-level detectives? The career ladder is being rebuilt in real time. Training can no longer focus solely on specific tools. Instead, it must emphasize adversarial thinking, strategic analysis, and risk management. The most valuable professionals will be those who can act as translators, bridging the gap between what the technology reports and what the business needs to do about it. They won't just run the machines; they will direct them, question them, and provide the essential oversight that prevents automated systems from making catastrophic, high-speed mistakes.
