The incident occurred near the stage barricade, where a large crowd had gathered to catch a glimpse of the Bollywood playback singer.According to eyewitnesses, the crowd became restless even before the concert began, leading to a massive surge. In the chaos, two people, including a woman, fainted. They were immediately taken to a first aid centre on the spot and later transferred to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
No injuries or fatalities reported so far
Police and event organisers responded immediately and deployed additional security personnel to control the crowd and prevent further incidents. The Additional Commissioner of Police arrived at the venue to assess the situation.To restore order, additional Commissioner of Police (CP) personnel arrived on the scene. Reports indicate that police resorted to mild lathi-charge to disperse the unruly sections of the crowd, with many people fainting on the spot and requiring immediate hospital attention.
