BJP leader has polled in 11,648 votes, and is ahead of his nearest rival Arun Kumar of Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) by 1,300 votes.Nestled in the heart of Bihar, Tarapur has consistently drawn attention due to its political significance. A Janata Dal United (JD(U)) stronghold, this constituency has seen intense campaigning from major opposition parties like the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress (INC).The constituency has seen dominance of backward caste groups, particularly the Kushwaha community, which has shaped local electoral math for decades.
