Rajiv Vadra, the son of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and businessman Robert Vadra, is likely to be engaged to his longtime girlfriendAviva Baig, sources told Times Now. The engagement ceremony will be held at the Ranthambore National Park on Tuesday evening.Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday morning left for Ranthambore to attend the engagement ceremony of Raihan Rajiv Vadra and Aviva Baig.

Raihan Vadra has attended the Doon School in Dehradun, the same school where Rahul Gandhi and former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi studied. He then completed his higher education at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London. He is a visual artist.Meanwhile, Aviva's family is based in Delhi and she completed her early education from the Modern School and later completed her Mass Communication degree from the OP Jindal University, according to media reports. She is also a photographer and aims to raise awareness about social issues through her work, according to social media. According to an NDTV report, the couple has been together for seven years and Raihan recently proposed to Aviva and she said yes.Raihan Vadra is prominently seen campaigning and participating in political activities alongside Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi. Raihan had captured media attention as he stepped out to cast his vote along with his sister Miraya during the Lok Sabha elections last year.During the 2020 Delhi assembly elections, Raihan had advocated for access to public transport, saying that it should be subsidised for the students."I missed (voting in) the last elections due to my exams. I would like to see my city developed and up there with all the best cities in the world. I think everyone should have access to public transport and it should be subsidised for students," he said with his parents by his side.Earlier in 2015, he had visited Amethi, then represented by Rahul Gandhi, and interacted with the locals there.
