Jakarta: PM Modi on Tuesday (July 7) conferred Indonesia's highest honour, the ’Bintang Adipurna’ medal during his two-day visit to the Southeast Asian country, highlighting the strengthening ties between the two nations. Indonesia President Prabowo Subianto made an announcement in this regard.Earlier in the day, PM Modi was accorded a grand ceremonial welcome when he arrived for talks with the Indonesian President. PM Modi arrived in Indonesia on Monday on the first leg of his three-nation tour. His visit aimed at further strengthening India's Act East Policy, MAHASAGAR Vision and its commitment to a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific."Thank you for the warm welcome at the Istana Merdeka!" PM Modi posted on X.The Prime Minister also signed
a guest book when he met President Subianto at the Istana Merdeka in Jakarta. The visit of Prime Minister Modi underscores the growing friendship and strategic cooperation between the two nations.
