Dr. Shaheen Shahid, one of the arrested prime suspects in the Delhi Red Fort blast case-linked Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror module in which , was found to have three passports issued on different addresses and had traveled to Pakistan at least three times.Not limited to Pakistan, the Lucknow-based Dr. Shaheen reportedly undertook six foreign trips, including one to Thailand.As investigations into the Delhi blast case progress, it has also emerged that Dr. Shaheen hold seven bank accounts which recorded transactions worth approximately Rs 1.55 crore over the past seven years. Agencies are currently examining the sources and destinations of these funds.

Lucknow’s GSVM Medical College Board Delists Dr Shaheen Shahid From Faculty
In the wake of Delhi blast-linked JeM terror trail, Lucknow’s Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial (GSVM) Medical College has removed Dr. Shaheen Saeed’s name from the board of the Pharmacology Department.An official on the condition of anonymity stated that Dr. Shaheen served as Head of the Pharmacology Department from September 1, 2012, to December 31, 2013, after which Dr. Pooja Agarwal assumed the position on January 1, 2014.NIA Gets Key Breakthrough in Delhi Blast Case
In a major breakthrough on Sunday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Kashmiri resident named Amir Rashid Ali from Delhi in the Red Fort car blast case.According to the agency, Amir Rashid reportedly conspired with the suicide bomber Umar Nabi to carry out the terror attack, which claimed 13 innocent lives and left around 25 injured.NIA said that the car involved in the attack was registered under his name. The anti-terror agency has also seized another vehicle, which belongs to Nabi. The vehicle is being examined for evidence in the case.NIA has examined 73 witnesses so far, including those injured in the blast. NIA is working in close coordination with Delhi Police, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Haryana Police, UP Police and various sister agencies.The Agency said that it is pursuing multiple leads to unearth the larger conspiracy behind the bombing and identify others involved in the case.Do you find this article useful?
