The
hall of a Hanuman temple collapsed in Yashwadi, located in the Manavat taluka of Parbhani, Maharashtra, on Saturday (June 20). According to reports, 30 to 40 people are trapped beneath the structure, while five have been confirmed dead. The Parbhani police sources said that 18 people have been injured in the tragic incidentAccording to officials, the slab of the temple's 'sabha-mandap' (outer hall) collapsed around 3.30 pm. The police and district administration have sent their teams, and a rescue operation is underway. Officials said the rescue operation has been completed and all trapped individuals have been safely rescued from the site. Reportedly, construction work was underway at the Hanuman temple when the roof collapsed.
