Parth Pawar Sworn In as Rajya Sabha MP, Pens Emotional Tribute to Late Father Ajit Pawar

leader Parth Pawar was on Thrusday sworn in as a Member of the Rajya Sabha, describing the occasion as a deeply emotional and proud moment in his life. Pawar dedicated this milestone to his father, Ajit Pawar. "I dedicate this milestone to my late father, Ajit Dada Pawar, whose guidance, values and commitment to public service continue to inspire me every single day," he wrote in a post on X.

Recalling that his father began his own parliamentary journey in 1991, Pawar expressed regret that he could not be present to witness the moment. "I am certain his blessings are with me, and I promise to uphold his legacy with sincerity and purpose," the newly elected MP added.He expressed profound gratitude to the people of Baramati for their unwavering support and trust, stating that their faith strengthens his resolve to serve with greater dedication.Pawar also thanked his mother, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Pawar, for her constant strength and support, and for being present on the special occasion.Extending his appreciation to his party colleagues, he thanked all MLAs of the NCP and senior leaders Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare for their trust and encouragement.He noted that he was honoured that the swearing-in ceremony was attended by Union Minister and Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha, J P Nadda.Pawar expressed sincere gratitude to the leadership of the Mahayuti government, particularly Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, for their support."This responsibility is not just an opportunity, but a solemn commitment—to serve Maharashtra to the best of my ability. The aspirations of our youth, the concerns of our farmers, the empowerment of women, and giving voice to the voiceless will remain my highest priorities," he asserted.Concluding his statement, Pawar said it was the privilege of his life to enter Parliament under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also thanked Home Minister Amit Shah for his guidance.
