The selected students hailed from diverse districts including Kamrup Metropolitan, Morigaon, Dibrugarh, Cachar, Sribhumi, Baksa, Dima Hasao, Kokrajhar, Golaghat, Karbi Anglong and Nalbari. They represented a wide spectrum of institutions such as Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, PM Shri schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Assam Jatiya Bidyalay, Don Bosco institutions, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas, along with other government and private schools, showcasing Assam’s educational diversity.Following the interaction, Prime Minister Modi visited the Shaheed Smarak at Boragaon, paying tribute to over 860 martyrs of the Assam agitation. Later in the day, he travelled to Namrup to lay the foundation stone of the Assam Namrup Fertilizer project, a move expected to significantly boost industrial growth in the region, before departing for Delhi from Dibrugarh. The PPC interaction aboard MV Charaidew stood out as one of the most visually striking editions of the programme, blending dialogue, culture and nature. For the students on board, the morning on the Brahmaputra was not just about exam tips, but an unforgettable memory etched against the flowing river and a moment of direct connection with the nation’s leader.
