Kashmir Times office in Jammu was raided by the State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Thursday amidst its ongoing probe into the Delhi Red Fort car blast and the multi-state Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) "doctor terror" network.The office, located in Press Enclave on Residency Road, Srinagar, had reportedly been briefly sealed in 2020, and the paper had not been in circulation for the past few months. Officials say that an FIR had been recently filed against the newspaper, leading to the searches. The case is currently under investigation.This is not the first time the publication has come under the scanner. Earlier, raids were conducted at its office over allegations of publishing "anti-national content".
Investigations Into Delhi Red Fort Car Blast Intensify
The probe into the Delhi Red Fort Car blast has intensified with security forces raiding Faridabad's Al Falah University to uncover terror links.Al Falah University came under the NIA scanner after the Delhi blast mastermind Dr Umar Un Nabi, and another terror accomplice, Dr Muzammil Shakeel - whose Faridabad room yielded over 360 kgs of explosives in a raid - were found to be employed at the varsity.As per reports, action will be taken against the Founder and Chancellor of the University. His house in Madhya Pradesh is set to be demolished within three days. The University is also facing Enforcement Directorate (ED) heat over accreditation fraud.The ED stated that the University and its Trust generated Rs 415.10 crore through fraudulent practices, including misleading students and parents to pay fees based on false accreditation and recognition claims.
