Rashtriya Lok Morcha’s Madhaw Anand has won the constituency with 97956 votes, as per the ECI. The RJD was eyeing a hat-trick in this constituency; however, RLM’s Madhaw Anand defeated Samir Kumar, who
previously won in 2020 and 2015. Arvind Kumar Purbey from the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) came in third, garnering 15,818 votes (8.43%).In the 2015 Bihar Legislative Assembly election for the Madhubani constituency, RJD candidate Samir Kumar Mahaseth won the seat with 76,823 votes, securing 45.27% of the total vote share. He was followed by BJP’s Ramdeo Mahto, who received 69,516 votes (40.97%), while SP candidate Naiyar Azam finished third with 3,874 votes (2.28%).The main contest is between the NDA alliance — consisting of the BJP, JD(U), and HAM — and the Mahagathbandhan, which includes the RJD, Congress, and Left parties.
