52 Students at Telangana Boys’ Hostel Hospitalised After Falling Ill Post Dinner

Hyderabad: In an alarming incident, 52 students from a state-run boys’ welfare hostel in Jogulamba Gadwal district, Telangana, were hospitalised after reportedly falling ill following dinner on Friday night, officials said, reported PTI.The students, from the hostel in Dharmavaram, Itikyala mandal, complained of vomiting and stomach pain, and their condition worsened later. They were admitted to a government hospital, where doctors treated them and confirmed that they are now clinically stable, an official said on Saturday.A district health official said 32 students were discharged and the remaining are also safe and are kept under observation.
