India, US Explore LPG, Civil Nuclear Trade as FS Vikram Misri Ends 3-Day Visit

India and the United States discussed furthering energy cooperation in nuclear power and new areas such as coal gasification and LPG exports in Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri's meeting with US Energy Secretary Chris Wright. FS Misri arrived in the US late Tuesday night on a three-day visit. During the visit, he has held meetings with senior officials from the departments of defence, commerce and state.
