In a major development in the anti-terror operation underway in Delhi-NCR, a woman doctor associated with one of the accused is being interrogated. The cops have recovered 360 Kg explosives, a rifle, pistols,

5 litre chemicals, 20 timers and 14 bags during raids following the arrest of a doctor hailing from Jammu and Kashmir. A woman doctor, suspected to have close links with the arrested doctor, Dr Muzamil Shakeel, is being interrogated by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the central agencies. More police officers have reached the spot, sources told Times Now. The cops have arrested Dr. Adeel Ahmed Rather, a resident of south Kashmir’s Qazigund, from a hospital in Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) on November 6. Another accused, Dr Muzamil Shakeel, a teacher at Al Falaha University, was arrested in a joint operation by Faridabad and Jammu and Kashmir Police. Adeel Rather was also wanted in connection with putting up posters supporting terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed in Srinagar. According to officials, Adeel, who worked as a Senior Resident at GMC Anantnag until October 2024, was absconding after the incident. Faridabad CP Satender Kumar said, "It is an ongoing joint operation between Haryana police and Jammu and Kashmir Police. An accused, Dr Muzamil, was nabbed. 360 kg of inflammable material is recovered yesterday, which is possibly ammonium nitrate. It is not RDX..."He said that eight large suitcases, 4 small suitcases and a bucket was also recovered, alongside 20 timers with batteries, 24 remotes, approx 5 kgs of heavy metal, walkie-talkie sets, electric wiring, batteries and other contraband material have been recovered.
