Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made multiple arrests in a criminal network involving Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) officials in Jaipur and others in an alleged bribery case."The CBI has busted a criminal network involving an Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT) advocate, one judicial member and an Assistant Registrar, all from Jaipur and other unknown public servants & private persons for indulging in corrupt activities for settling appeals pending in ITAT bench in favour of concerned appellants in lieu of bribe," the probe agency said in a statement on Wednesday.The CBI said those arrested in the alleged corruption case are:
- Rajendra Sisodia, Advocate, Income Tax Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Jaipur
- Dr. S. Seethalakshmi, Judicial Member, ITAT, Jaipur
- Mujmmel, Appellant
