The reshuffle in Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav's office has deepened, with another member of his personal staff being removed. The appointment of Assistant Private Secretary Siddharth Yadav was terminated on Tuesday, days after the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change relieved three other officers attached to the minister in a rare administrative shake-up.The latest order comes on the heels of separate notifications issued on July 3, under which the ministry removed the minister's Private Secretary, prematurely repatriated an Additional Private Secretary to his parent cadre, and terminated the appointment of another Additional Private Secretary. The ministry had cited "administrative grounds" for the earlier changes
and did not provide further details.With Siddharth Yadav's removal, four members of Bhupender Yadav's personal staff have now exited within a span of days, making it an unusual overhaul of a Union minister's office.

Among those relieved is Amar Singh, an Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer of the 2010 batch, who was serving as Bhupender Yadav's Private Secretary. According to the ministry's order, Amar Singh has been repatriated to his parent cadre, the Department of Revenue, on "administrative grounds", in pursuance of a Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) Office Memorandum dated July 2 and with the approval of the competent authority.The order states, "Shri Amar Singh, IRS (IT:2010), Private Secretary to the Hon'ble Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, is repatriated to his parent cadre, i.e. Department of Revenue, on administrative ground and relieved of his duties with immediate effect."In a separate order, Shailesh Kumar Singh of the Central Secretariat Service (CSS), who was serving as an Additional Private Secretary to the Minister, has been "prematurely repatriated" to the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), his parent cadre, under the provision of "extended cooling off". He has also been relieved of his duties with immediate effect and directed to report to the DoPT.Another Additional Private Secretary, Ayush Sharan, has also been relieved with immediate effect. According to the official order, his appointment has been terminated.The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has not publicly disclosed the reasons behind the simultaneous removal of the officers beyond the administrative grounds cited in the official orders.
