Addressing the Diamond Jubilee session of Bharat Scouts & Guides, the 19th National Jamboree, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called upon the youth to build a united, strong, and Vikit Bharat while preparing
to face global challenges. On Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that the expectations of the 19th National Jamboree reflect what is required from today’s youth. He emphasized the need to love nature, remain sensitive toward the environment, maintain cleanliness, and be ready to dedicate everything to national unity. “If we all come together for this mission, no challenge facing the nation will remain unresolved,” he said.He stressed that only a nation empowered by awakened youth can become a superpower. Referring to great personalities, he also shared essential success principles with the youth. The Chief Minister extended warm greetings on behalf of the state and the nation to scouts and guides who had arrived from across the country and abroad. The Chief Minister said that this event holds special significance for him. After nearly 61–62 years, such a grand event is being hosted in Uttar Pradesh. He noted that the state represents India’s unlimited potential. It is the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, where the grand Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple now stands completed, and today, under the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the saffron flag was ceremonially hoisted atop the temple. He also highlighted that Uttar Pradesh is the land where Lord Shri Krishna was born and performed His divine leelas. It is the land where Mahatma Buddha delivered his first sermon, and where he attained Mahaparinirvana and spent the maximum period of Chaturmas. This sacred land has also given birth to several Tirthankaras. In 1857, Rani Lakshmibai resolved from this very land that she would not let her motherland fall to foreign rule. It is on this land that revolutionaries like Pt. Ram Prasad Bismil, Thakur Roshan Singh, Ashfaqullah Khan, and the valiant Chandra Shekhar Azad strengthened the struggle for freedom. He added that independent India’s largest youth population resides in Uttar Pradesh. Hosting the 19th National Jamboree here will serve as a new source of inspiration for all.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that when the youth decide to act, nothing remains impossible for them. Giving the example of Adi Shankaracharya, he said that a young monk from Kerala established four dhams in the four corners of the country and spread the message of Sanatan Dharma far and wide, all before the age of 32. India remains grateful to him even today. He said that success is achieved through collective effort, teamwork, and discipline. When everyone channels their energy in one direction and trusts their leadership, extraordinary results follow.According to the Chief Minister, when young people awaken with determination, history changes and eras transform. When a nation’s youth are awakened, its present becomes glorious and its future becomes invincible. He cited Swami Vivekananda, Bhagat Singh, Chandra Shekhar Azad, and Major Dhyan Chand as examples proving that age is never a barrier to creating history.Quoting India’s ancient wisdom, meaning let noble thoughts come to us from all directions, he encouraged youth to welcome knowledge from every source. He also said it is Uttar Pradesh’s good fortune that the year 2025 hosted the grand Mahakumbh, and now the 19th Jamboree represents a Mahakumbh of youth.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remarked that when young people from across the nation come together and experience India’s cultural diversity through the Jamboree, they are weaving the dream of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat into reality. He said that scouting is not limited to sports, training, or uniforms, it is a way of life rooted in character and service. Today, the principles of Scouts & Guides are practiced in more than 170 countries, which is a matter of pride. The Jamboree showcases global harmony through modern management and Indian culture. Digital systems, green campus, medical support, security arrangements, a global village, adventure zones, and cultural exchanges collectively reflect Uttar Pradesh’s emerging capabilities on the world stage. He also appreciated the organizers and paid tribute to the sacrifices of Sikh Gurus, mentioning the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji Maharaj. The program began with the Chief Minister lighting the ceremonial lamp. He was honored with the event mascot, a scarf, and a ceremonial stole. He also witnessed various cultural performances, including the ‘Deva Shri Ganesha’ presentation.Dr. K.K. Khandelwal recited a poem in the Chief Minister’s honor titled “Sirr par kesariya abha, nayanon mein ujiyara hai; seedha-saadha vesh magar, Himayala saara hai.”All scouts and guides welcomed the Chief Minister by lighting their mobile flashlights and chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Jamboree’.The event also featured addresses by former Deputy Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Dr. Anil Jain (National President, Bharat Scouts & Guides), and Mahendra Singh (State President, UP Bharat Scouts & Guides).
