Prateek Yadav Died Of Cardiorespiratory Collapse Due To Pulmonary Clot, Reveals Postmortem Report

Lucknow: Prateek Yadav, the younger son of Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, died on Wednesday at Lucknow's Civil Hospital. The postmortem report of Prateek Yadav revealed he died due to cardiorespiratory collapse caused by massive pulmonary thromboembolism, implying a large blood clot blocked the arteries in the lungs.Earlier, Yadav had the lung disease for which he was admitted to a private hospital. After Prateek Yadav collapsed, he was taken to the Civil Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead, and his body was sent for a postmortem. According to PTI, Prateek had suddenly fallen ill and was rushed to the civil hospital in the early hours of the day (today) but was declared dead at the hospital, the sources said.Who Was Prateek Yadav?Prateek

Speaking to reporters at the postmortem house in Lucknow, the Samajwadi Party chief described Prateek as a hardworking and health-conscious person who wanted to build his own identity through dedication and effort.“Prateek Yadav is no longer among us. It is extremely painful. He was young, and since childhood he was very conscious about his health and wanted to move ahead in life,” Akhilesh Yadav said.Meanwhile, speaking to PTI, Prateek's brother-in-law Aman Bisht said, "I am at the hospital right now. This is not the time."Some youths who were seen with the body at the civil hospital, nearly a kilometre from Prateek's residence, said they rushed Prateek to the hospital around 5.10 am, and he was officially declared dead around 6 am. Civil Hospital director Dr GC Gupta told PTI that Prateek was brought dead to the facility."We ran the necessary SOPs, and after confirmation, we informed senior officials and police," Dr Gupta said.
