TN Teachers’ Recruitment Scam Case: ED Conducts Raids At 18 Locations In Chennai, Trichy And Madurai

Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday conducted raids at around 18 locations, including Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore, and Madurai, in connection with the teachers’ recruitment exam manipulation case. Notably, an FIR in connection with the case was filed in 2017 by the Central Crime Branch (CCB).As per the CCB, bribers were paid to manipulate the marks in the teachers’ recruitment exam. In 2017, the Central Crime Branch filed a case against 196 candidates who allegedly applied for jobs as lecturers in polytechnic institutes. In the initial investigation, around 200 candidates were found to have fake marksheets.(More To Follow...)
