A senior police officer said, "We have taken cognisance."The IHPL, a privately organised T20 league, was promoted as a platform for emerging and semi-professional cricketers. However, it was not recognised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).Further details about the organisers and financial arrangements of the event are awaited.
