BJP leader Smriti Irani brought a flavourful twist to her campaign trail in Bihar when she stopped by a local street food stall on Saturday evening. At the stall in Patna, Irani was seen enjoying pani
puri with BJP MP Anil Baluni and other party leaders. While eating the snack, Smriti Irani asked the vendor, "Meetha hai ya teekha hai?" (Is it sweet or spicy?). When the vendor replied that it was mildly spicy, she quipped, "Humko teekha dijiyega." (Give me spicy).
While speaking to reporters in Patna, Irani asserted that the record voter turnout during the first phase of the elections meant that people had voted for the NDA in large numbers."People voted in large numbers in support of NDA during the first phase of elections...I appeal to the public, especially women, to vote for NDA in the second phase of the elections as well," she said./images/ppid_a911dc6a-image-176261808982726421.webp)
