Chief Minister Nitish Kumar lost his temper on Thursday after noticing a group of women leaving a public event while he was speaking about government initiatives for women.Addressing a gathering in Siwan district, Kumar paused his speech and sharply questioned the women for walking out. He said they would not understand what the government was doing for them if they did not stay and listen. The incident took place during a function held as part of the state government’s ongoing “Samriddhi Yatra,” a statewide outreach programme launched last week. Kumar, one of India’s longest-serving chief ministers, is set to turn 76 later this year.
