Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Monday, July 20, released photograps of its meeting with Union Minister JP Nadda. CJP spokesperson Saurav Das shared the image on X (formerly Twitter) saying, "AshutoshRanka and I have been at J.P. Nadda’s residence since 12 noon. The demands have been conveyed, including immediate resignation/sacking of Dharmendra Pradhan.""The Minister assured us he will discuss this at the appropriate level. However, no commitments have been made so far. The peaceful protesters will not rest until the demand is met!" he added.

"The Minister has also assured us that no further crackdown will happen at Jantar Mantar and around. However, no reports yet of police stopping," he said.

Earlier today, CJP had said that Nadda has requested some time to talk about CJP's demands to his party leadership. These three demands are -* Immediate release of Sonam Wangchuk * Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation* 1Cr compensation for all NEET aspirants who committed suicideThe demands were posted by Ranka, who also urged the Delhi Police to immediately stop the use of what he described as "brute force" against peaceful protesters participating in the march.Protesters participating in the Cockroach Janta Party's Parliament march on Monday refused to disperse despite heavy police barricading, lathicharge and use of tear gas, and raised slogans demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.The march, which witnessed participation of students and people from across Delhi, was stopped near Parliament Street, where police had put up multiple layers of barricades.Clashes broke out with protesters, streaming into central Delhi, navigating inner lanes and attempting to find alternative routes to get as close as possible to Parliament. Some police personnel and protesters were injured.
