A family from Mehsana, Gujarat, including a three-year-old girl, has been reportedly kidnapped in Libya while attempting to immigrate to Portugal for a ransom of Rs 2 crore. Kismatsinh Chavda, his wife Heenaben, and daughter Devanshi were traveling with the assistance of a Portugal-based agent. They were kidnapped in the North African nation bordering the Mediterranean Sea, en route to Portugal, where the man's brother is settled, Mehsana Superintendent of Police Himanshu Solanki said, PTI reported.According to Solanki, the family from Badalpura village in the district was travelling with the plan to settle in the European country.
