CEO Peyush Bansal on Thursday broke his silence after a controversy erupted over a viral internal dress code document allowing wearing of 'hijab' but not sporting a bindi or tilak. The viral dress code document claimed that while hijab and turban were allowed to be wore by the employee but did not approve for a 'bindi' or 'tilak' sparking widespread outrage. Clarifying the matter, Peyush Bansal said that the document is outdated and does not reflect current policy. "He admitted it contained an incorrect line on bindi and tilak, which "should never have been there," and said it was removed earlier.
