Assam's election rally got a groovy twist on Sunday after Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma broke into a dance at a poll rally in Bongaigaon. The CM was seen shaking a leg to a BJP campaign track alongside cheering party workers. The high-energy scene comes as the BJP amps up its outreach ahead of the Assam Assembly elections this month, leaning on music to strike a chord with voters.Himanta Biswa Sarma has officially unveiled three theme songs for the campaign, describing them as a grassroots effort crafted by party workers themselves. “Several theme songs have been prepared by party workers for the polls. The songs have been penned and composed by BJP workers,” he said, as per TOI.Among them is ‘Asomor Surakhya, Bikashor Protigya’ (Assam’s
protection, promise of development), written and composed by Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita and sung by Rakesh Riyan.
