Tamil Nadu Exit Polls 2026: How Accurate Were Poll Predictions In 2021?

Chennai: The voting for the 234 seats for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections 2026 was held in a single phase on April 23. The state recorded a voter turnout of over 84 per cent. After the voting, the entire focus has been shifted to exit polls. They are indicators about which alliance could form the government before the counting begins.These exit polls for Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry will be released only after the second round of voting for the West Bengal polls ends at around 6:30 pm, as per the Election Commission's guidelines. However, in 2021, the polls' predictions were bang on.
