Will CJP Join Full-Time Politics? Here's What CJP Leader Saurav Das Said

Amid speculation over whether the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) will transform its nationwide protest movement into a full-fledged political outfit, the CJP spokesperson Saurav Das, while speaking to Times Now, clarified that entering electoral politics is not the organisation's immediate priority and added that the group's current focus remains on expanding its grassroots movement.Speaking exclusively to Times Now following CJP's decision to withdraw its protest, Das said that the party's current focus remains on strengthening its grassroots presence across India, ensuring that the concerns of young people remain at the centre of public policy."Right now our focus is very clear that this movement has to go to the grassroots. For this, we will be

travelling across India. We will be talking to the youth of the country. In the past month, we realised that people have no one to share their stories with; we will go to the grassroots and will listen to them," Das said.

Das' remarks come amid growing speculation that the CJP, which spearheaded the nationwide agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak and education reforms, could eventually enter mainstream politics following the success of its campaign.The Cockroach Janta Party on Saturday (July 25) called off its protests after the central government agreed to several of its key demands, including compensation for affected families, withdrawal of FIRs against protesters, and discussions on broader education and examination reforms. In addition to this, Dharmendra Pradhan also resigned as the Union Education Minister earlier in the day, one of the key demands of the CJP. While the CJP has not ruled out a political future, Das' statement suggests that the organisation intends to remain focused on expanding its grassroots network and advocating for youth-centric reforms before taking any decision on contesting elections or evolving into a conventional political party.
