Jammu School Bus on Picnic Overturns After Hitting Divider, Over 25 Students, Teachers Injured

New Delhi: Over 25 school students are reportedly injured after a school bus overturned near the Ring Road in the Bishnah area of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) on Saturday.According to reports, a total of 40

students were onboard the bus who went on school picnic. The incident took place when they were returning home on Saturday evening.The accident occurred near the Ring Road in Bishnah area when it reportedly hit the divider and overturned.Around 25 students and six teachers sustained injuries in the mishap. Soon after the incident, locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals.All the injured are currently undergoing treatment.Most of them are being treated at Bishnah Hospital. Among the deceased, 6 are seriously injured and have been referred to Government Medical College Jammu for advanced medical care.Reported by Ankit Bhat
