2 Feared Dead After Passenger Train Collides With Goods Train In Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur - Video

A passenger train (68733) and a goods train collided head-on near Lalkhadan in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur on Tuesday, causing several coaches to derail. Deaths are feared, however, there has been no official announcement yet.According to railway officials, two passengers were injured in the incident. Authorities said both have been provided with immediate medical attention, and all necessary rescue and relief operations are underway. Senior railway and local administration officials have reached the site to assess the situation and determine the cause of the collision.In the aftermath video, one train coach is seen atop another train with a portion crumpled from the impact.

MEMU train coach hit a goods train near Bilaspur station at about 16:00 hours. Two people have been injured in the incident. Railways have moved all the resources, and all measures are being ensured for the treatment of the injured, ani said quoting railway officials.
