CJ Roy, the Bengaluru-based property tycoon and founder of the Confident Group, allegedly died by suicide on Friday. The industrialist, known for his extravagant lifestyle and social media presence, reportedly shot himself while an income tax raid was ongoing at his office.The police said that the raid, conducted by a team from Kerala, had been in progress for the past two to three days. Bengaluru Police chief Seemanth Kumar Singh, who visited Roy’s residence on Longford Road, confirmed that a case has been filed. "Prima facie, it appears that industrialist CJ Roy has shot himself. Ballistic experts and other officials are investigating," he said. The handgun allegedly used by Roy has been taken for forensic analysis.The Confident Group, founded
