In a big development in the Pahalgam attack case, non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued against proscribed terror outfit LeT commander Saifullah aka Sajid Jat.The NIA, on Monday, had filed a chargesheet
against Saifullah alia Sajid, who is a designated terrorist and fugitive hiding in Pakistan. The anti-terror federal probe agency had termed Pahalgam attack as "waging war against nation".Documents accessed by Times Now have revealed that NIA moved an application in a special court in Jammu giving details of Sajid Jatt role in the Pahalgam terror attack.NIA said in a statement, "Accused Saifullah @ Sajid Jatt @ Ali Bhai @ Habibullah Malik @ Langda @ Noomi @ Numan @ Usman Habib @ Shani S/o Mohd Rafique R/o village Changa Manga District Kasur Pakistan involved in case RC No.02/2025/NIA/JMU on the grounds inter alia mentioned in the application. It is stated in the application that during the course of investigation of the case, it came to light that one accused Saifullah Sajid Jatt @ Ali Bhai S/o Mohd. Rafique R/o Village Changa Manga, District Kasur Pakistan, who is also a designated terrorist notified vide 4th schedule of UAPA 1967 mentioned at serial no. 42, is an active terrorist of proscribed terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Toiba, operating from Pakistan and providing weapons, money and moral support to terrorists active in Kashmir Valley". RC 2/ 2025/JMMU is the NIA FIR in the Pahalgam terror attack case. NIA is probing the case since April.The court in its order said, "A perusal of communication annexure-II reveals that accused is operating in Pakistan and is active terrorist as per notification issued. He joined terrorist LeT outfit in the year 1998 and he was active in Yaripora area of Kulgam District. During this period he developed relationship with a lady namely Shubi and married with her in the year 2005 and gave birth to a son and thereafter, the said terrorist left Kashmir and crossed the border to Pakistan in 2006 leaving behind his newly born son in District Kulgam. One FIR is also pending against the said terrorist at Police Station, Khan Sahib, District Badgam. As such, the allegations against the accused are grievous and he is allegedly involved in terrorism."
