New Delhi: India is likely to receive its first bullet train by August 15, 2027 and will be operational in the same year, Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed on Thursday. Speaking about India’s

Revealing more on the timeline of India’s first bullet train project, Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the project will be ready in 2027. The first section to open will be from Surat to Bilimora. After this, the section between Vapi to Surat will be functional. Then Vapi to Ahmedabad and Thane to Ahmedabad.
