West Bengal Police allegedly faced obstacles by Noida Police while arresting an accused linked to alleged conspiracy regarding the leaked private chats claimed to be of Trinamool MP Mahua Moitra. Top police source told Times Now, “when West Bengal police arrived the location and detained the accused this morning, suddenly a team of Noida police comprises of 10-15 cops obstructed Bengal police from discharging their duty and they forcefully taken the 4-member team of West Bengal police to local police station and kept them there for at least 1.5hrs. As result, the accused successfully escaped from the scene and absconded.”A private chat claimed to be of TMC MP Mahua Maitra and political strategist Prashant Kishor was being circulated in social
media few days back. TMC MP Mahua Maitra lodged a written complaint at Krishnanagar Kotowali police station in Nadia against the claim was made in social media handle. Based on her written complaint an FIR was registered and investigation was launched by Krishnanagar police district. Source claims, during the probe, it was found that one person named Surajit Dasgupta posted the chat on his X handle. According to his X handle, he seems to be linked with saffron organization. Police source also says that, when the forensic examination was conducted, the said chat was found to be forged in forensic examination conducted by FSL. Following which, the person was served a notice and asked to appear before the investigating officer of Krishnanagar Kotwali Police Station on Monday. But the accused person remained absent skipping the summon which resulted in issuance of an arrest warrant ordered by local court in Nadia district.
