As Indore reels into the tragic water crisis, Times Now revealed the ground reality of what's happening on the streets of India's cleanest city. The residents revealed that the streets outside the Indore Development
Authority's Government flats area are flowing with dirty water and gutter waste. However, after the Times Now report, Indore Municipal Corporation rushed with cleaning machines to sewage-choked pipelines.The municipal corporation took their team, along with cleaning machines, to those sewage-choked pipelines of Indore Development Authority(IDA) flat streets. Now, as reported, the entire area is getting scrubbed clean on the spot.
‘Gutter Waste on Streets’
Earlier in the day, the Times Now team reached the site and exposed the reality of the government flats area in the city, showing the residential buildings, which are so weak that the cement peels off with just a rub.Moreover, the streets were seen overflowing with gutter waste and dirty water running on roads from broken pipelines.
Authority Did Not Visit The Area To Check Problem
The residents also complained that neither the mayor nor the ward Councillor has once visited this area, stressing that their problems have been ignored. They are made to run from one department to another just to file their complaint, the residents said.

Indore Water Crisis
Nearly 150 people are currently hospitalised, and at least 6 people have lost their lives amid the Indore water contamination crisis, according to the PTI news agency.Indore’s Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Madhav Prasad Hasani, confirmed that water samples from the city were contaminated due to a leak in a main supply pipeline. Bhagirathpura has been identified as the epicentre of the outbreak, triggering health concerns across the area.
