Amid
the ongoing allegations regarding the theft of donations at the Ayodhya Ram Temple, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is likely to appoint a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to oversee the temple’s financial and administrative management, sources told Times Now. According to a Ram temple trust member, as per the tradition, the meeting of the Ram Temple Trust will take place on July 11. The appointment of a CEO for the Ram Temple complex may also be taken up in the meeting scheduled for the next month.According to the sources, the trust may also decide on the appointment of a new General Secretary of the Ram Temple Trust following Champat Rai's resignation and a replacement for Anil Mishra as a Trust member.
Trust Confirms Champat Rai, Anil Mishra's Resignations
The Ram Janmbhoomi Trust on Saturday acknowledged that they have
received resignations of trustees -- Champat Rai and Anil Mishra -- adding that they will further deliberate on this matter in the upcoming meeting."We are shocked, hurt, and deeply saddened by the incidents reported over the past few days regarding the Shri Ram Mandir (Ayodhya)," the Trust said in a statement, adding, "Resignations have been received from Champat Rai, General Secretary, and Anil Mishra, Trustee, of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra (Trust)."The Trust further assured those devotees who personally handed over items — such as silver bricks and jewelry — to Trust officials for offering to Lord Ram that these items are safe and fully accounted for. "We assure everyone that we will take measures to prevent any such unfortunate situation from arising in the future," the Trust added.
Trust Urges People To Refrain From Spreading Baseless Rumours
Amid the ongoing allegations of theft involving donations at the
Ayodhya Ram Temple, an FIR has been registered and legal proceedings are currently underway. In addition to this, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the Uttar Pradesh government at the Trust's request is also investigating the matter."We assure everyone that every effort will be made to ensure that no such unfortunate situation arises in the future. We will insist that those responsible receive strict punishment in accordance with the law. We will not allow anti-social, irreligious, and self-serving elements to succeed in their attempts to malign Sanatan Dharma," the Ram Mandir Trust said.The Trust added that they request everyone to refrain from believing or spreading misleading and baseless rumours and to ensure that others are not misled by such misinformation. "We are confident that these clouds will pass, the darkness will give way, the light of truth will prevail, and the powerful stream of devotion to Lord Shri Ram will continue to flow uninterrupted."
