The
first visuals of the rooftop where actor-model Twisha Sharma allegedly died by suicide have now surfaced, with Times Now accessing the photo of the scene at her marital home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area. The rooftop is the spot where the 33-year-old was allegedly found hanging on May 12, triggering a high-profile probe that has since escalated into an alleged dowry death case.
Twisha, who hailed from Noida, was found dead at her in-laws’ residence under circumstances that remain under investigation. While her husband’s family has alleged that she was struggling with drug addiction, Twisha’s parents have firmly denied the claims and accused her in-laws of harassing her over dowry demands. The body of actor-model Twisha Sharma remains at the mortuary of AIIMS Bhopal as legal and forensic procedures in the case continue. The investigation witnessed significant developments on Friday after the Madhya Pradesh High Court ordered a second autopsy to be carried out by a specialised forensic team from AIIMS Delhi. The directive came after Twisha’s family questioned the findings of the initial postmortem and demanded an independent forensic examination. In another major development, police took custody of Twisha’s husband, Samarth Singh, who had allegedly been absconding for over a week following her death. Singh was brought to Bhopal in the early hours of Saturday, and investigators are expected to seek his custodial remand for further interrogation.Earlier on Friday, the head of the forensic medicine department at AIIMS Delhi confirmed that the institute was ready to conduct the second autopsy in compliance with the High Court’s order.Samarth Singh, son of former judge and Bhopal Consumer Court chairperson Giribala Singh, was brought to the Katara Hills police station late Friday night. Giribala Singh, who secured anticipatory bail after Twisha Sharma’s death, has also been named as a co-accused in the case.
5’8 In Video, 5’4 In Postmortem: Fresh Twist In Twisha Sharma Death Probe
TIMES NOW has accessed details pointing to a major discrepancy in the postmortem findings of actor-model Twisha Sharma. According to information accessed by TIMES NOW, Twisha had stated in her profile introduction video that her height was 5 feet 8 inches, which is approximately 172.7 cm. However, the postmortem report allegedly records her height as 166 cm, nearly 5 feet 4 inches, creating a noticeable mismatch that has now become a fresh point of contention.Family friends have questioned how such a significant difference in measurement could appear in an official medico-legal document, especially in a sensitive case already under intense scrutiny. They claim the discrepancy has deepened doubts surrounding the postmortem findings and raised concerns about whether proper procedures were followed during documentation.
