When Chris Evans arrived for his Dodo Dream Date, he was thrilled to learn he was going on a date with not one but two dogs, Carly and Greg.
“I’m ready,” Chris told The Dodo. “Double excited.”
Greg and Carly are a bonded pair, meaning they’ll need to be
adopted together to the same forever home.
“Hey, I get it,” Chris said. “A charmer like Greg, how could you stay away?”
To kick off their date, the trio decide to play a game of pong. Every time Chris landed a tennis ball in a bucket, it held treats, toys or a conversation starter for getting to know each other. The first bucket had a delicious treat of strawberries and revealed that Carly and Greg love movie nights, which got Chris talking about his own love of movies.
The second bucket held Jinx Chicken Jerky Bites, a special treat that Chris’ own dog, Dodger, loves as well. Chris then talked some more about movies he’s done and his newest role as a real-life father to a little girl.
Chris kept throwing balls, grabbing buckets and finding more questions for him and treats for the pups, like Jinx Beef & Bone Broth Biscuits.
As the date went on, Carly enjoyed playing fetch and getting belly rubs from Chris, while Greg enjoyed following Carly around and watching the excitement unfold. At one point, they both settled in for some cuddles with Chris, and he couldn’t contain his excitement.
“Man! What a happy family,” Chris said.
As the date began to wrap up, Chris prepared two care packages, one for Carly and one for Greg, to go with them to their future forever home. The trio said goodbye to the pups and wished them luck, hoping their family would find them soon.
