When Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro found out that their Dodo Dream Date, Kilimanjaro, was surrendered by his owner nine months ago, they couldn’t believe it. The sweet pup has been waiting for his forever family ever since then, and his dates were
shocked he hadn’t been snatched up yet.
To kick off the date, the trio began playing a game of Plinko to get to know each other and earn delicious treats.
“Let’s find out if we’re a good match,” Monica said in a video for The Dodo.
The first ball landed in a treat slot, and Jaro was thrilled to try some doggie Oreos. Next, the actors talked about the different roles they’ve played while Jaro waited for more snacks.
“I don’t know, I think Jaro may have rigged this for treats,” Monica said.
The actors are starring together in the upcoming movie “One Night Only” and have gotten to know each other well, and they had a blast answering questions, feeding Jaro treats and even playing with toys. They loved watching Jaro’s personality shine as he showed off what a great pet he would make.
“Oh, you’re so good at playing,” Monica said.
As the date wrapped up, Callum and Monica made up a care package for Jaro to take with him to his future forever home.
“This is making me cry,” Monica said.
