What's Happening?
The West Oahu Kennel Club held a dog show on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Waianae, Hawaii. The event featured a total entry of 135 dogs across various breeds, judged by Ms. Lee Anne Bateman. The Best In Show was awarded to CH Northbay Xsell U Made Me Laugh @ Manestreet BCAT CGCA CGCU TKN, an Australian Shepherd owned by C Nakakura. The Reserve Best In Show went to GCH Elidas Autumjoy Solo Traveler, a Papillon owned by J Martin & S Juden. The show included multiple categories such as Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting, and Herding, with each category judged by different experts. The event showcased a wide range of breeds, including Spaniels, Retrievers, Borzois, Beagles, Doberman Pinschers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Papillons, Dalmatians, and German Shepherd Dogs.
