Diaz was known for his active lifestyle, enjoying activities such as baseball, gardening, fishing, and salsa dancing. He was a devout Catholic and a beloved member of his community. Diaz is survived by his wife, Rosa, his daughter, Cynthia, stepchildren, grandchildren, and siblings. A visitation is scheduled for August 19, 2025, at Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, followed by a funeral mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church and interment at Ascension Cemetery.
