be inaugurated on October 30, with flight operations expected to begin within 45 days of the launch.
Noida International Airport: The second International Airport
The greenfield airport, located in the Jewar area of Gautam Buddh Nagar district in western Uttar Pradesh, is about 75 km from Delhi. It will be the second international airport serving the National Capital Region (NCR) after Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport, PTI reported.

“We are trying to push up the inauguration so that we can see it happen very soon. As of now, the date we have finalised is October 30 and within 45 days of that, we expect operations to start,” Naidu said while addressing reporters during an event at Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, news agency PTI reported.
Noida International Airport: Operating from the upcoming facility
The minister added that airlines have shown strong interest in operating from the upcoming facility. “They feel there is huge potential in that area. As per discussions with airlines, at least 10 cities are likely to be connected in the first phase,” he further added.

Highlighting its broader role, Naidu noted that the airport would serve as a strategic hub with a significant focus on cargo operations in addition to passenger flights, according to PTI.
Noida International Airport: Regional connectivity and support economic growth
Developed under a public-private partnership model by the Uttar Pradesh government, the Noida International Airport is expected to bolster regional connectivity and support economic growth in western Uttar Pradesh and the NCR.
