The Dubai Airshow 2025 is currently taking place from November 17 to 21 at Dubai World Central (DWC). This biennial event is one of the world's largest and most influential aerospace gatherings, featuring major commercial orders, flying displays, and conferences on the future of aviation.
The 2025 edition carries the theme ‘The Future is Here’, bringing together top minds and companies to discuss the future of aviation, defence, and space.
The Dubai Air Show witnessed breathtaking aerobatic performances from top military aircraft, including the UAE's Fursaan Al Emarat, Indian Air Force's Surya Kiran team, Boeing's 777X, Russia's Sukhoi Su-57, Kamov's Ka-52 Attack Helicopter, and India's HAL TEJAS.
The 19th edition of the biennial airshow also features displays by other international aircraft, including China's C919 jetliner and a Joby Aviation eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) aircraft.
The event showcased the prowess of global military aviation, with each team delivering stunning aerial displays that captivated the audience. The performances highlighted the capabilities of these aircraft and the skill of their pilots.
On Monday, Minister of State (MoS) for Defence Sanjay Seth inaugurated the India Pavilion at the Dubai Air Show 2025. He is leading an Indian delegation that includes senior officials from the Department of Defence, Department of Defence Production, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Armed Forces.
The India Pavilion includes stalls from HAL, DRDO, CoreEL Technologies, Dantal Hydraulics, Image Synergy Ekxplor, and SFO Technologies.
In a conversation with ANI on Saturday, Seth said that the Indian pavilion demonstrates PM Narendra Modi's resolve for "indigenous and self-reliance."
“Dubai Air Show's India Pavilion demonstrates India's defence capabilities and the Prime Minister's resolve for indigenous and self-reliance. The world is looking towards India for its defence capabilities. The world saw our indigenous strength during Operation Sindoor. The world is looking at our defence capabilities, startups, and our private players,” he added.
The event is taking place from November 17 to 21, with over 100 Air Forces participating, according to the IAF-MCC. The Dubai Air Show has about 1,500 exhibitors and 148,000 industry experts from 150 countries, including major aerospace companies such as Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embraer, Thales, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, and Calidus.
