What is the story about?
Eicher Motors has launched the Flying Flea C6, its first electric motorcycle from the Royal Enfield stable, in Europe and the UK. The move marks the brand's first expansion outside India, where the motorcycle made its debut in Bengaluru three months ago.
Bookings are now open in Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin and London, with deliveries set to begin in October 2026.
Eicher is following a city-by-city rollout, beginning with Bengaluru and then Paris. The approach allows the company to establish sales and service support in each market before expanding further.
The Flying Flea C6 is priced at €5,990 in Europe and £5,300 in the UK. It is available in three colours: Flea Green, Storm Black and Parachute White.
Battery and performance
The FF.C6 is powered by a 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery housed in a magnesium alloy casing.
It has a claimed WMTC range of 104 km (65 miles) and a top speed of 115 km/h (72 mph). Maximum motor torque stands at 60 Nm, while peak power is rated at 15.4 kW at 3,500 rpm.
The battery can charge from 20% to 80% in just over 60 minutes using a standard 16-amp wall outlet. Eicher says this adds roughly 1 km of range for every minute of charging.
Riders can choose between Rapid, Standard and Trickle charging modes. The motorcycle also uses regenerative braking to recover energy while slowing down.
Design and technology
The FF.C6 draws design inspiration from the original Flying Flea motorcycles of the 1940s.
It features a forged-aluminium exoskeleton frame and a forged-aluminium Girder fork. Royal Enfield says the fork is a feature not currently offered on any other motorcycle on the market.
The battery casing features front fins arranged in an alternating pattern, while simpler rear fins meet at a wing-shaped scoop in the centre.
Other design elements include a round TFT touchscreen display, a removable pillion seat and adjustable footpegs.
Fleaware OS
The motorcycle runs on Fleaware OS, Royal Enfield's adaptation of Android Automotive OS. It works alongside the Flying Flea Mobile App for remote monitoring and navigation.
The system supports over-the-air updates and is designed to adapt to a rider's behaviour over time. Other features include a rotary mode switch, joystick-controlled interface, cruise control, voice assist, a programmable button and a kill switch.
The FF.C6 also gets lean-angle ABS and traction control.
Development and customer response
Eicher Motors Managing Director B. Govindarajan said early riders in India had logged “over 100,000 customer-ridden kilometres in just three months” since the Bengaluru launch.
He said the response had given the company confidence to expand the motorcycle into new markets.
The FF.C6 was developed by a team of more than 200 engineers across India and the UK, resulting in more than 45 patent applications.
The motorcycle has also received the Red Dot Award 2025 in the Design Concept category, the Good Design Award 2025 and the iF Design Award 2026.
Launch stores
The five launch locations are Royal Enfield Bastille at 47 Bd Beaumarchais in Paris; Royal Enfield Barcelona at Carrer de Buenos Aires 53, Eixample; e-drive Center by Green City Mobility GmbH at Goerzallee 311 in Berlin; Krazy Horse London at Capital House, 211-219 Bellegrove Road, Welling; and Royal Enfield Roma Nord at Via Mesula 12.
