In an interview with New York Magazine, he explained that these meetings could last up to three and a half hours, with 28 people speaking, making it tough for him to stay engaged.

During a Cabinet meeting in December, he seemed to struggle to keep his eyes open while Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick praised his tariff policies. He then appeared to blink slowly while Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins spoke.
Trump even closed his eyes for 10-15 seconds at a time during Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.'s remarks.

Several Trump officials have defended the president's health, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who described Trump as ‘too healthy’ and ‘too active’. Col. James Jones, head of the White House's medical unit, also reported that Trump had ‘perfect’ results in an ‘MRI-like’ test.
