Sahebganj/Hazaribag, May 30 (PTI) Two persons, including a police constable, died after two motorcycles collided head-on in Jharkhand’s Sahebganj district on Saturday, officials said.
The incident occurred
near Dhobra village under the jurisdiction of Borio police station around 12.30 pm.
“The injured were taken to hospital where doctors declared them brought-dead,” Borio police station in-charge Rohit Singh said.
He said one of the deceased was a police constable posted in Godda.
“His identity is being ascertained. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination,” Singh said.
Meanwhile, eight people suffered injuries when a tyre of their car burst and the vehicle hit a divider at Danua Valley in Chouparan police station area of Hazaribagh district.
