New Delhi, Apr 26 (PTI) Filmmaker Farah Khan went down memory lane as she shared a picture alongside Michael Jackson and urged fans and followers to watch a biopic on the late global star.
The film, titled
"Michael", released on April 24 and is directed by Antoine Fuqua. Featuring Jackson's nephew, Jaafar Jackson, the film has received mixed reviews from the audience and critics.
Khan shared a throwback picture on her Instagram handle on Saturday, which featured her alongside the King of Pop. "Point to be noted.. Critics r morons in every country! Go Watch MICHAEL!! N sm1 pls give @jaafarjackson the Oscar next year," she wrote in the caption.
Jackson has several tracks to his credit, including "Billie Jean", "Beat It", and "Thriller", among others. He died due to acute propofol intoxication in 2009 in Los Angeles. He was 50.
The film chronicles the life of Jackson, from his childhood with the Jackson 5 (an American pop group formed in 1964 in Gary, Indiana, by brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson) to his 1980s Bad tour. PTI ATR
