New Delhi, Apr 9 (PTI) Bollywood actor Sanya Malhotra has completed shooting schedule in Kashmir for her upcoming film "Sundar Poonam".
The film is directed by Pulkit of "Bhakshak" fame and is produced
under Tips Films and Abundantia Entertainment banners by Kumar Taurani and Vikram Malhotra. It is written by Jyotsana Nath along with the filmmaker.
Malhotra, known for films such as "Dangal", "Badhaai Ho" and "Kathal", shared a series of pictures on her Instagram handle on Wednesday as she shared the news. It featured the actor and the crew of the film at the backdrop of Kashmir. "We came, we shot, we froze, hehe. #SundarPoonam. Kashmir," she wrote in the caption.
Also featuring Aditya Rawal, the Prime Video film is inspired by real-life crime events.
Malhotra's latest work is "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari", which released in 2025 and featured the actor with Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Rohit Saraf.
She will next feature alongside Rajkummar Rao in the Netflix film "Toaster', which follows a Ramakant (Rao), a notorious miser who reluctantly gifts a toaster worth Rs 5,500 to a couple for their wedding. When the marriage is immediately annulled, Ramakant becomes irrationally obsessed with retrieving the gift. His mission to get the toaster back spirals into a chaotic web of mishaps involving murder.
