New Delhi, Jul 20 (PTI) The eighteenth edition of "Kaun Banega Crorepati", hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, is set to release on August 10 on Sony Entertainment Television and Sony LIV.
The actor shared the
news with a video post on Instagram on Saturday and said the show will have a new theme, "Sochna Padega".
"Aa raha hai #KaunBanegaCrorepati 10th August, raat 9 baje se sirf #SonyEntertainmentTelevision aur Sony LIV par.
#KaunBanegaCrorepati #KBC #SochnaPadega," read the caption.
"Sochna Padega" emerges through the brand films that reinforce the importance of applied knowledge in today's world. Set across relatable everyday situations, the films highlight that while information is now instantly accessible and technology has transformed the way we learn, what truly matters is the ability to think critically, analyse information and adapt to changing times meaningfully," according to a press release.
Bachchan has hosted “KBC” since 2000, except for the third season in 2007, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
Besides hosting the show, the actor will next feature in the sequel to "Kalki 2898 AD" and "Section 84", where he will appear alongside Diana Penty and Nimrat Kaur. PTI ATR
